about

This tune was a collective idea. The original sequence was recorded by Alfonso Zarate and uploaded to Splice. I heard it and immediately imagined words and melody, so I recorded a voice line. Later I mixed everything in my home studio and added some Moog lines.
I was inspired by Laurie Anderson, and also the sound of 4AD records.
Different versions of this tune, with the original voice line, came out, probably there will be an album inspired on the pandemic lockdown feeling with two versions of this tune and other collective tunes.
Spanish speaking friends may be wondering why I wrote this piece in English... the lyrics came out that way, but if I think about it, it's a way to getting to be heard by more people around the world.
And yes... I'd love to be heard and share this piece with as many people as possible :)

lyrics

You know... I was thinking... haha... I know it's hard to believe, but I was thinking:
If all of us are locked up inside our homes
Then all of us have access to silence... and in that silence...
maybe we can go inside...
I mean... inside ourselves
And... what if that "inside ourselves" is the same in everyone...
Then we could find the others inside of everyone
And then we would not be isolated

isolated

Isolated, maybe loneliness it's not loneliness anymore
Isolated, maybe loneliness it's not loneliness anymore, anymore

I'd find my way inside my way
I'd find my way inside my self
I'd find my way inside my way
inside my self, inside my self
And I'd find the others and I'd find the others
And the others may find me, the others may find me

I'd find my self inside my self
inside myself I'd find way
I'd find my way inside my self
inside my way I'd find my self
(my self)

Isolation... is no longer... isolation
makes you stronger... isolation
is the key... to the door ... of perception... maybe
Isolation opens the door... to the world entire... maybe
